In bucolic Lakemore Academy, just being as far away from the troubled girls’ school his father left him in is good enough for senior Ellery, until a spectral necromancer appears in his dreams to smother his sanity, ravish his body, and interrogate his loyalty to the mundane world. POMPOISON presents the 8” x 10” oversized, full color, Volume 1 and Volume 2 of his trailblazing Trans-Gothic Erotic Horror comic series LITTLE DEATH, with Volume 2 in print for the first time.
This is a campaign to print VOLUME 2: PRECIOUS THINGS, a 156 page book, for the first time, to reprint VOLUME 1: DEATH AND THE BOY, and to print a Secret Variant Cover run of VOLUME 2: PRECIOUS THINGS for the first time.
If you’re just discovering the series, check it out at littledeathcomic.com.

In academic Lakemore Academy, being as far away from the troubled girls’ school his father left him in is good enough for Ellery, until a violent undead man invades his dreams to question his loyalty to his colleagues and smother his sanity. With his connection to reality fraying, will Ellery lose his mind to the ravenous sexual hunger of the necromancer and his thralls?
When I set out to create LITTLE DEATH, I wanted to make dark queer erotica that is just as in love with the Monstrosity as it is with the blameless and victimized. A story where a happy romantic ending should be impossible for the two main characters because Callisto abuses his supernatural necromancer powers to taunt, humiliate, hurt, and scare Ellery. Yet even with these barriers to intimacy, Ellery and Callisto still feel drawn towards safeguarding the other’s innermost vulnerabilities. This comic contains gore, and imagery depicting self harm, suicide, and depression.
Little Death, particularly Volume 3, which is in progress on my paywalled SubscribeStar, explores Ellery and Callisto radically healing monstrous intergenerational injuries in order to dismantle the barrier holding them back from trusting each other. I value stories with complex characters and human emotions, because I think that reading is an investment in narrative, and narrative can redeem the irredeemable.
Little Death Volume 1+2 will be printed with KENESS, a US-based printer. I printed Little Death Volume 1 with them in 2022 and was extremely happy with the high quality of their books!
