After botching the “one last job” that was supposed to get them up and out of the irradiated slums of the futuristic “Lower Tokyo”, two small time crooks, Tib and Wren, along with their mentor, aspiring hoverbike racer Lee, are caught between superpowered gangs, a violent police state, a class revolution, and a leather-clad, pyrokinetic madman trying to burn it all down. Thieves, family, flame, Tokyo will burn.
Written by T.S. Luther (Growing Up), drawn by Sky Hawkins (Exhaust), and lettered by Mike Stock (Dead Roots), Tokyo Fire is a seven-issue limited-series that follows two back-alley thieves as they navigate their final days in a city on the brink of collapse and unravel the conspiracy that led to its downfall.
With your help, we can jumpstart issue #1 and start telling the story of Lower Tokyo’s dissent into ash.

If we can hit $4,000, we’ll include a whole mess of concept art back matter in the issue from the making of issue #1!
• The Zoop campaign will run from August 15th, 2023 to September 15th, 2023.
• Writing is complete and art work and lettering on the issue is already underway!
• Creative will finish up after the campaign closes. (About a month)
• The world is a scary place and we have tried to account for any and all monsters that might get in our way. That being said, delays in finishing the art are always possibly, however unlikely. Any delays will be communicated promptly to backers.
• All that leaves is printing and shipping. (About two weeks for each)
• We are aiming for the end of November/beginning of December for backers to receive all of their rewards.
• Printing and shipping delays are possible. Any delays will be communicated promptly to backers.
A few short answers to how this works.
