#The Book
OIL and WATER, Dave Dorman's first in a series of high quality art collections, featuring work from his over 40 years as a painter in the Fantastic Illustration field. The art will include both major and minor pieces from his vast involvement of many comics, toys, books, movies, and games projects. Artwork including STAR WARS, ALIENS, BATMAN, Magic the Gathering, GI Joe, and many more. Most shown here for the first time uncluttered by logos and uncropped. Also will include many unpublished personal pieces he has created for himself over the years. Dave Dorman is proud to offer this self curated book showcasing work in the fields and genres he has loved since he was a kid.
Here's a review by Cartoonist Kayfabe of OIL and WATER: ALIZARIN, a 48-page hardcover which Dorman published as an experiment. Suffice it to say, it did work as this Zoop campaign attests. Some of its artwork, but not all, will be published in our much larger OIL and WATER hardcover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfrCaUHVhgs

#Timeline
