Who is Margreet de Heer?
With over twenty-five years of experience as a cartoonist and illustrator, Margreet de Heer has produced comics in almost every genre. Her educational comics, about hefty topics such as philosophy, science and religion, found international acclaim and are widely used in schools. They have been praised for presenting complex topics in a clear and fun way.
Margreet is based in Amsterdam and was the first Comic Artist Laureate of The Netherlands, from 2017 to 2020.

Margreet, who started out as an autobiographical comic artist, almost always draws herself as a guide throughout her work.
