#About
After rediscovering around 80 illustrations I did 24 years ago for a Scrooge 'Illustrated Novel' that never came to fruition, I decided to rework the art and finish the book. The entire project has been insightful and incredibly fun. Some illustrations have been tweaked and others, completely redrawn and new ones added. It’s rare you find an opportunity to have an in depth creative conversation with your 25 year old self.
A Christmas Carol has always been my favorite Christmas story and I’m thrilled to be able to create and share the images that appear in my head when reading this ghostly tale.

#Bio
Jason Shawn Alexander is an expressionist figurative painter, illustrator, and comic book creator. Alexander pulls from the vulnerability, fear, and underlying strength of his rural upbringing, just outside of the haunting home of the Delta Blues.
His work has been the subject of number of solo exhibitions, including the Corey Helford Gallery, Culver City, CA, and 101/exhibit. In 2009 his portrait hung in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, Washington, DC. His work is collected both in the US and abroad. Alexander has also worked over 20 years as an illustrator and comic book creator. He has earned two Eisner Award Nominations and the Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators. He has co-created and provided art for titles at DC/Vertigo, Marvel, Dark Horse, and Image Comics like Spawn, Killadelphia, Hellboy, Batman, Escapists, Super Man, and Queen and Country. #Timeline
There are some tweaks to be made before printing, but the images themselves are pretty much done, so the book should be ready to go to print right after the campaign ends.
Printing and shipping should take around three to four months, so we're aiming for delivery of rewards to be done by the end of November so everyone can have it in time for Christmas!
Zoop will always be here to communicate with supporters should any delays occur, if there’s confusion about delivery, or if any other concerns pop up.
