The Story of SHI: SENRYAKU (戦略)
When Ana Ishikawa was a child Yakuza thugs murdered her father and young brother before her eyes but contemptuously spared her. A little girl was no threat.
Ana learned from her grandfather that the Ishikawa’s were secret members of an ancient Sohei (僧兵) warrior clan, sworn foes to the Yakuza. Grandfather promised to train her for vengeance against the Yakuza and their “oyabun,” (親分) Arashi!
But before that could happen, before Ana Ishikawa could become SHI (死), scourge of the yakuza, she would undergo decades of training and learning. Using a multitude of historical examples, Grandfather guides Ana through the famed 36 Stratagems (兵法三十六計) to teach her how to gain advantage over her foes.
